Located on Main Street in Shallotte, NC, Homestyle Foods is a friendly neighborhood diner serving daily breakfast and lunch plates.

The story of Homestyle Foods runs way back to 1969. In a small town in upstate New York my parents purchased a pizza place called Homestyle Pizza, At 12 years old I received my indoctrination into the food business, I learned from the maestro “Augie” also known as “Daddy” how to treat customers and run a restaurant.

In 1974 my parents opened a deli in Rotterdam NY. That endeavor was followed by the purchase of land and the gasoline station next door in 1981.  Mom was gone but Daddy kept up his entrepreneurial spirit.
